New Hospital

We are hopefully on the last of the revisions to the architectural  plans. Our expectations are that bidding will conclude in late Summer and we  will  break ground  sometime  in the Fall. Dr Mayer  and  Denise  Davis   traveled to Houston   to   visit    a   few    recently   built progressive  Veterinary  Hospitals  to  glean any information  that  might  be  helpful  in  our construction. Their trip was a total success. It is our intention to build primarily in front of the existing building and continue to practice with minimal interruption during the construction process.

Congratulations

are in order for Daryl Haydel.  Daryl, who has worked for MSAH for the past two years,  has been accepted into the fall class of veterinary students at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. We would hope in four years you might see him in a white coat behind one of our exam tables.

Julie Plauche' is the April Employee of the Month.  Julie grew up in Kenner and has lived in Metairie for the past twelve years.  She  graduated  from Bonnabel High School
in 1985 and has worked for MSAH since 1989. Julie became our head receptionist in 1997 and has kept the front desk running smoothly ever since.  She is very personable and compassionate with clients and her work ethic is excellent. Julie enjoys gardening and spending her free time with her long time boyfriend, David, her three cats, and her recently adopted dog, Hank.
