Revolution has arrived

We are now carrying Pfizer's new product, Revolution. Revolution is a  topical monthly heartworm preventative for both dogs and cats that also kills adult  fleas and prevents their eggs  from hatching out. But  that's not all. Revolution  is  also   effective  in  the  control of ear  mites ,  hookworms,  roundworms and  sarcoptic mites.
This product can be used on puppies and kittens as young as six weeks of age. Revolution is water-proof, so you can bathe your pet or allow them to go swimming the day after an application.
Revolution is only available through your veterinarian,  so call us or stop by the next time you need to pickup heartworm preventative.

   Practical Tip

A  practical tip sent  in  by a  client   was  to purchase old sleeping bags at the thrift store and after a good washing, use these as a beds for large and giant breed dogs. Please send suggestions and tips to  tips@msah.com

Carrie Whittington has worked for MSAH for two years and is currently one of our three  technicians  in  training.  Carrie graduated from high-school in Gulf Shores and previous to coming here had worked two years for the Louisiana SPCA and three years   for  another  veterinarian  in  New Orleans. Carrie's technical skills are superb and is progressing rapidly in the training program. We at MSAH are very proud of Carrie and the work she has been doing. Carrie enjoys her time off with her daughter Kayleigh and her two cats. Keep up the great work Carrie.
