Dr. Siegfried Mayer
 Dr. Mayer is a New Orleans native and received his B.A. in biology from the University of New Orleans in 1978 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from LSU in 1983. While he takes special interest in general surgery, orthopedics and laser oncology surgery, he also enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine.
Dr. Mayer is a member of the Southeast Louisiana Veterinary Association, Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Along with his wife Lisa and five daughters (Rachael, Caroline, Megan, Kristin and Simone) Dr. Mayer helps raise his dogs, multiple fish, their turtles, a Quaker parrot, parakeets and 2 cats. He enjoys sports activities with his children and has a passion for "anything outdoors."
