NOLA City Bark

This 4.6-acre dog park is located in historic City Park. It offers separate play areas for big and small dogs, a walking trail and Howdy entrance gates to let your dog get accustomed to the park before you let him loose. The park offers dog and human water fountains, as well as on-site restrooms and “Mutt Mitts” for clean up. The park is open Wednesday-Monday 5:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Tuesdays from 1 p.m. – 9 p.m. The annual permit fee is $48 for one dog, and it’s $53 for up to three dogs.

Lafreniere Park

Lafreniere’s Bark Park is five acres divided into small and large dog play areas. The bark park is situated near the 2-mile walking trail. It offers a wide variety of agility equipment for your dog to enjoy as well as plenty of open running space. The park is free to the public and operates Tuesday – Sunday from 7 a.m. – dusk and Mondays from 1 p.m. – dusk.

Wisner Park

Wisner Park is the largest space Uptown where New Orleaniean canines can run freely. It’s located a bit off Tchoupitoulas and often filled with locals letting their hounds roam, without fear of being ticketed. It’s also located next to a playground, making it perfect for your next family outing.
