Veterinarian
Dr. Cameron Himel was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana, and graduated from Jesuit High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Mississippi in 2011 as a Magna Cum Laude graduate. He then earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Louisiana State University in 2016. After graduation, Dr. Himel went on to complete a one-year small animal rotating internship at MedVet & Cancer Centers for Pets in Louisiana, and a surgical internship at South Paws Veterinary Surgical Specialists in Mandeville, LA. He then continued his education at Auburn University and completed a small animal surgical residency in 2021. During his residency, he also earned a Masters degree in biomedical sciences, with a research focus on 3D printed, custom implants for fracture stabilization. Following completion of his residency, Dr. Himel joined the medical team at Metairie Small Animal Hospital as a veterinarian who is limited to the practice of small animal surgery.
Veterinarian
Dr. Alex Juneau was born and raised in Gretna, Louisiana. He received his Animal Science degree from ULL in 2010. He then attended LSU and received his doctorate of veterinary medicine in 2014. After graduating he and his wife, Jaynie, moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he practiced veterinary medicine for three years. While in Las Vegas they had a daughter named Olive. In 2017 he and his family moved back to New Orleans where he began working for Metairie Small Animal Hospital. He is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association. He and his family reside in Uptown New Orleans with their Australian Shepherd, Ziggy, and their Catahoula, Stevie. Dr. Juneau enjoys hiking, camping, biking, reading and spending time with his wife and daughter in his free time.
Veterinarian
Dr. Cody Pfister is originally from Old Metairie and grew up in Covington. He attended St. Paul’s High School and then Louisiana State University, completing a degree in Business Administration. He then spent a year working for a land management company specializing in oil and natural gas easements, traveling throughout the northeastern United States. Returning to his lifelong passion, Dr. Cody then attended LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in May 2022. Dr. Cody is especially interested in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, clinical pathology, and oncology. He lives in Old Metairie with his girlfriend Sydney, a small animal veterinarian, and their Greyhound, Mango, as well as their Black Labrador Retriever, Squid and cat, Disco. In his free time Dr. Cody enjoys kayaking, attending music festivals, camping, and exercising.
Veterinarian
Dr. Adi Chatow was born and raised in Israel and moved with her family to California when she was in high school. After finishing her undergraduate Biological Sciences degree, she worked for tech start-ups in San Francisco and later in New York City. Returning to her childhood dream, Dr. Adi then attended UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in May 2022. Dr. Adi moved with her husband to New Orleans where she began working for Metairie Small Animal Hospital. They live in the Bywater with their Black Mouth Cur mutt, Skooner, and their cat, Pita Pocket. Dr. Adi is a private pilot and in her free time she enjoys flying around to discover new travel destinations. She is also a core member and a pilot at Amelia Air Animal Rescue, a non-profit organization that rescues pets from overcrowded areas or disasters by flying them to safety.

Born in Metairie Louisiana, Dr. Morgan Domangue grew up on the banks of Bayou Liberty near Slidell. She graduated from St. Scholastica Academy High School, and subsequently received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal, Dairy, Poultry Sciences from Louisiana State University (LSU). She attended St. George University Veterinary School, graduating Magna Cum Laude in January 2021. She is a member of the Alpha Delta Chapter of the Society of Phi Zeta, an honor society for Veterinary Medicine. In 2020, she returned to LSU in order to complete her final clinical year. Morgan began working, and remains employed at Metairie Small Animal Hospital (MSAH). She adores traveling, and many outdoor activities such as sailing, hiking, fishing, and gardening. In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing on Bayou Liberty with her family, always accompanied by her devoted dogs, Jockamo, Barclay and Dax.

Dr. Candice grew up in New York. She attended vet school at Ross University in St. Kitts and attended LSU for her clinical year. She has been at MSAH since graduating, working as an emergency and urgent care veterinarian. She resides in Metairie with her partner Paul and son Aiden. They have 3 dogs (Quinn, Bentley and Blaze) and 3 cats (Aurora, Duchess, and Gizmo). Her interests include emergency/critical care and surgery. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling and good food.

Dr. Lauren is originally from Baton Rouge, LA, and attended Tulane University for undergraduate, and graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor’s in evolutionary biology and ecology. During undergrad years, she did a research project with the Audubon Zoo, worked with some of Tulane’s ecology research labs, and spent 2 weeks volunteering at a primate sanctuary in Ecuador. Dr. Lauren went to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine for vet school and LSU SVM for her clinical year. Her interests in small animal medicine include internal medicine, oncology, and clinical pathology. Dr. Lauren currently lives in Old Metairie with her dog Vanilla. She is a classically trained vocalist background, and enjoys rock climbing and exploring the city of New Orleans.

Dr. Youna Jeon was born in Seoul, South Korea and grew up in Chicago. She received her Bachelor’s in Animal Sciences from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and then attended University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. After receiving her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, she completed an internship in emergency medicine and zoological medicine at LSU and Avian and Exotic Medicine and Surgery specialty internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital (Red Bank, NJ). Dr. Jeon is strongly interested in exotic companion animal medicine, feline medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She lives in Metairie with her boyfriend Brendan and her two cats, Howl and Louis. Dr. Jeon is a huge foodie and loves traveling, hiking, camping, kayaking, calligraphy, pottery, and soap-making.

Dr. Victor Perez was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and attended Jesuit High School. He later attended Colorado State University where he finished his degree in History. He went on to receive his Masters of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology at Tulane University. Dr. Victor is very interested in both soft tissue surgery as well as dermatology. He currently lives in Lakeview with his wife, Olivia, son, Grey, and house of three cats, Leeloo, Nibbler, and Ginger. In his free time, Dr. Victor enjoys exercising, cooking, and writing.
Veterinarian
Dr. Trayce Womack grew up in Carrollton, TX. After high school, she attended the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT, earning a B.S. in Marine and Environmental Sciences and a commission as an officer in the Coast Guard. During her time as active duty, she served as an engineering officer for the USCGC MIDGETT in Seattle, WA, and then as a port engineer stationed in New Orleans. After separating from the Coast Guard, she attended Texas A&M University for veterinary school. She elected to come back to the New Orleans area because she fell in love with it during her time stationed here. She currently lives in Metairie with her dog, Pearl, who enjoys coming to work with her everyday and eating chicken.
