Dr. Anna Landry


Dr. Anna Landry was raised in the New Orleans area, where she went to Ursuline Academy, beginning in the toddler program, through high school graduation. She received her B. S. degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Georgia in 2015. While in veterinary school, she studied small animal acupuncture at the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine in 2017, before graduating from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. She then returned home to New Orleans and joined MSAH. Dr. Anna lives in Uptown New Orleans with her two golden retrievers, Georgia and Louisiana. She enjoys exercising, watching movies, and traveling to exotic places such as Antarctica (where she has previously studied the behavior of pelagic birds). In her free time, she can always be found at the park with her fur kids, eating at local restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. 

Megan Mayer, DVM


Dr. Megan Mayer was raised in the New Orleans area and began working as a kennel attendant at MSAH while attending Mount Carmel Academy. She continued with MSAH throughout high school and college, working as a veterinary assistant and on our Emergency Team. She obtained her undergraduate degree in poultry science from Louisiana State University. Dr. Megan attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and received her veterinary degree in January 2017. She looks forward to growing in the profession alongside her father, Dr. Siggy. Dr. Megan has two Dachshunds, Gracie and Winston, and a Sulcata tortoise, Riesling. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and being outdoors.



Dr. Samantha Hill was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She received her Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Vanderbilt University. She then returned to her native Sunshine State for veterinary school at the University of Florida and graduated as a member of the veterinary honor society, Phi Zeta. After graduation, Dr. Samantha moved to New Orleans in June 2017 with her fiance, Hayden, for his urology residency at Ochsner. Her primary interests are feline medicine, endocrine diseases, and behavior. She is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners and the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association. In her free time, Dr. Samantha enjoys exploring the New Orleans food scene, doing yoga, and reading on her porch with her cat Sneaky.

Alex Juneau, DVM


Dr. Alex Juneau was born and raised in Gretna, Louisiana. He received his Animal Science degree from ULL in 2010. He then attended LSU and received his doctorate of veterinary medicine in 2014. After graduating he and his wife, Jaynie, moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he practiced veterinary medicine for three years. While in Las Vegas they had a daughter named Olive. In 2017 he and his family moved back to New Orleans where he began working for Metairie Small Animal Hospital. He is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association. He and his family reside in Uptown New Orleans with their Australian Shepherd, Ziggy, and their Catahoula, Stevie. Dr. Juneau enjoys hiking, camping, biking, reading and spending time with his wife and daughter in his free time.

Dr Kelsey Phillips


Dr. Kelsey Phillips dreamed of being a vet since she was a young child growing up in Harahan, LA. While attending Dominican High School, she worked as a veterinary assistant. She spent her collegiate years studying at Louisiana State University and continued her education at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated with her doctorate in May of 2018. After graduating, Kelsey moved back to her hometown of New Orleans to accept a position at Metairie Small Animal Hospital. Dr. Kelsey has special interests in surgery and exotic animal medicine. In her free time, she enjoys attending various sporting events, spending time with her family and friends, and going on adventures with her boyfriend and their three dogs: Beau, Cali, and Molly. 

Dr. Matthew Laiche


Dr. Matthew Laiche was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana. He attended Brother Martin for high school and graduated in 2011. From there he went to Louisiana State University to earn his bachelor's degree in Animal, Dairy, and Poultry Sciences with a minor in business administration. He then attended veterinary school at LSU, as well, and graduated in 2018. His special interests in veterinary medicine are internal medicine, ultrasound, behavior, and emergency medicine. Dr. Matthew is also currently certified in Fear Free veterinary care. In his free time, he enjoys running with his dog Remy, watching movies, attending trivia nights, and having game nights with friends.
