Dr. Adi moved to the US with her family during high school. After earning her degree in Biological Sciences, she worked for tech start-ups in San Francisco and New York City. She later returned to her childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian - graduating from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Adi then moved to New Orleans with her husband, where she joined Metairie Small Animal Hospital. They live in the Bywater with their son Raz, their Black Mouth Cur mutt Skooner, and their cat Pita Pocket. Dr. Adi is passionate about soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and educating pet owners and the public on preventive care and the best practices for animal health. In addition, Dr. Adi is a private pilot and serves as the Veterinary Director for Amelia Air Animal Rescue, a non-profit that rescues pets from overcrowded shelters and disaster areas by flying them to safety.
