Dr. Alex Juneau was born and raised in Gretna, Louisiana. He received his Animal Science degree from ULL in 2010. He then attended LSU and received his doctorate of veterinary medicine in 2014. After graduating he and his wife, Jaynie, moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he practiced veterinary medicine for three years. While in Las Vegas they had a daughter named Olive.
In 2017 he and his family moved back to New Orleans where he began working for Metairie Small Animal Hospital. He is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association.
He and his family reside in Uptown New Orleans with their Australian Shepherd, Ziggy, and their Catahoula, Stevie. Dr. Juneau enjoys hiking, camping, biking, reading, and spending time with his wife and daughter in his free time.
