Kathryn Heuer

Dr. Kathryn Heuer is originally from Fairfax, Virginia, and has been passionate about animal care throughout her academic journey. She earned her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech in 2021 before pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Long Island University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2026.

Following veterinary school, Dr. Heuer made the move to Slidell, Louisiana, where she now resides with her husband and their beloved cat, Angus. She is excited to serve the local pet community and build lasting relationships with clients and their furry family members.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Heuer enjoys staying active through running and regular workouts at the gym. She also loves exploring the local food scene and trying new restaurants whenever she can.
