Megan Mincey Reed

Dr. Megan Reed is a proud Louisiana native from Denham Springs and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 2025—Geaux Tigers! She also completed her undergraduate studies at LSU, beginning veterinary school one year early through the university’s distinguished 3+1 program.

From a young age, Dr. Reed dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, inspired by her love for animals and her desire to strengthen the bond between pets and their families. Her professional interests include client communication, behavioral medicine, dermatology, and preventive care, and she is committed to making every visit as calm and comfortable as possible for her patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Reed enjoys being with her husband, Keegan, exploring local restaurants, and enjoying the outdoors. She loves spoiling her dog, Bud, and cuddling with her cats, Bellini and Bourbon. She also enjoys gardening, baking, cooking new meals, and relaxing with a good book. Dr. Reed and her husband are local beekeepers in the New Orleans area and enjoy raising bees together. She also co-owns cattle with her father.
