Dr. Meredith Addison was born and raised in Monroe, Louisiana. She received her B.S. degree in biological sciences from LSU. She went on to receive her Masters in Animal Sciences from LSU, before attending LSU School of Veterinary Medicine.

After graduation, Dr. Meredith worked in Las Vegas, NV, for a year before returning to her home state to work at MSAH. She’s currently a member of the Southeast Louisiana Veterinary Association, Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Meredith lives in Bayou St. John with her two chocolate labs, Duke and Tuck. She enjoys outdoor activities with her dogs, kayaking, traveling, festivals, eating sweets, and art.
